The journey begins

This morning I received a very friendly phone call from the airline telling me I have passed my background check. It took them quite a while and I have been waiting by the phone with anticipation. But the wait is over and they set up my training date to begin on January 29th.
I hear that flight attendant training is a bit rough but I think I'm ready for it. I will be studying and preparing everyday. I have six weeks of training and then I will be moving to New York City to fly out of JFK. As soon as I have some nice trips set up I will inform everyone of my future travels. I will post lots of pictures and stories.
This is an exciting chapter of my life and I am thrilled to share everything with you.
The picture I have posted for this blog is of me with my mentor, Honey. She gave me lots of advice through out this process and has been a flight attendant herself for 38 years. It was wonderful to have her help.
I also have a new haircut. I think its more "flight attendant in New York".

:)

Heya. Good luck. Traveling is the life. I've lived in in various places and I've been all over. I love to fly, everything about it is great for me. Anyway, I just saw your blog because I was wondering who had read Electric KoolAid Acid test. Cheers from Denmark...
